Şişhane Florist
Over the past ten years, Şişhane has become a neighborhood of architecture and design offices. Floors of old apartment buildings within walking distance of Galata Tower have been converted into individual studios. For delivery, this means most addresses look like apartments but contain a company.
For Şişhane orders, we therefore ask for both the apartment number and company name. If either is missing, the courier cannot find the correct name on the intercom panel.
The Slopes of Şişhane
The neighborhood descends steeply toward the Golden Horn. Around Kuledibi, parking is difficult, so the courier often leaves the vehicle uphill and walks. This matters for heavy potted products; potted plants are why we ask when the recipient will be at the address.
For office deliveries, new-job and promotion products and orchids are most popular. We explain why orchids work well in offices and how to care for them in this article. We also provide same-day delivery to nearby Karaköy and Galatasaray addresses.
Openings and New Offices in Şişhane
New studios frequently open in the neighborhood. Standing products do not fit through narrow stairwells, so desk designs and mini gardens and terrariums are more popular. Terrariums are also successful office gifts because they are long lasting; My Love Garden with Areca Plant is one of the most frequently sent products in this group. Add the opening time to the order note so we can prepare accordingly.
Şişhane Delivery: Frequently Asked Questions
What should I provide for a studio or office address?
The apartment number and company name together. Intercom panels in these buildings often show the company rather than an apartment number.
What should I note when sending a heavy potted plant?
State when the recipient will be at the address. We do not want to leave the product at the door on a steep street.
Is same-day delivery available to Şişhane?
Yes. Orders placed during the day are planned for same-day delivery.
Will a standing product fit in a building with narrow stairs?
Often not. We recommend desk designs and terrariums for these addresses.
